Recovery Center services are designed to work with people outside of traditional office settings. Staff meet people in all sorts of places and personally join them as wellness coaches as they try out new ideas and pathways to health and overall well-being. In this way, the Recovery Centers are not physical locations, but rather centers “without walls,” helping people to implement their own personal goals.
Our Recovery Center staff guide people to learn new mental health self-management skills, improve their social lives and community engagement, develop new personal or creative interests, improve their physical health, develop independent livings skills, become better advocates for themselves, and connect with resources to help find employment or advance professionally.
“When I arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to be greeted with a warm smile and a welcome. I learned that the employees were all peers, meaning that they understood because they had experienced similar things and had found a way to find hope and a way to move past the crises in their lives.” – Lori Costanzo
