“I used to look at mental health struggles as a curse and think ‘why me,’ but now I’m working in the field and see it as a gift to help me connect with people,” Ricci said. “This is such an opportunity that I have been truly honored to get, and it’s something that has really put my life on a trajectory I didn’t know I was capable of.”
