The Mobile Crisis Response Team (MCRT) is a community resource to assist police with behavioral health calls, either independently or by corresponding with Yonkers Police Department. MCRT is comprised of an experienced team of a peer specialist and social worker who respond immediately upon receiving a request for service from law enforcement.

Services:

  • MCRT Services can be accessed either directly through the Yonkers Police Department or by 911 Dispatch.
  • The team will respond to any setting where a crisis is occurring immediately upon determination of need
  • Services may be provided face-to-face or telephonically
  • Mobile and Telephonic Crisis Response Services available 24/7
  • Standard follow-up occurs in the days after the initial response to mitigate potential future crises.
