The Westchester Crisis Stabilization Team works directly with community social service agencies and the courts to help individuals seek alternatives to incarceration. The team provides supportive and transitional care services to people at risk of entering the criminal justice system due to under-addressed mental health, substance use, or social determinants of health issues.
The MCRT or Mobile Crisis Response Team is a community resource to assist police with behavioral health calls, either independently or corresponding with Police Department. MCRT is comprised of an experienced team of a peer specialist and social worker who respond immediately upon receiving a request for service from law enforcement.
The Orange County Mobile Outreach Team works directly with law enforcement in the field and with the court system seeking alternatives to incarceration, to provide immediate crisis response and/or transitional care services to people at risk of entering the criminal justice system due to under-addressed mental health, addiction, or social determinant of health issues.
